Our Youth Theatre
Port Talbot Youth Theatre develops and nurtures creativity in young people and allows as many young people as possible to benefit, educationally, socially and culturally – from a varied programme of high-quality performing arts experiences.
Currently our inclusive Youth Theatre engages over 50 participants a week, with creative workshops, projects and productions.

A member of the National Association of Youth Theatres, our mission is to educate and enhance the lives of young people by providing innovative and professional creative arts experiences for young people from 11-18.
We are committed to being accessible to all, fostering teamwork and building confidence through exciting creative opportunities, live drama and film.
With no fees, weekly sessions aim to increase confidence, communication skills and self-expression as well as teach performance skills.
Led by industry professionals a year-round programme of creative activities includes, acting, movement, storytelling, public speaking, improvisation, singing.
Throughout the year we invite guest directors, industry professionals from theatre, TV and film.
With good mental health at its core, the youth theatre creates the opportunity for young people to connect, create and perform
